Mary was born on April 13, 1926 in Nora, Saskatchewan. She married George Keith Bright on July 26, 1946 at the First Baptist Church in Vancouver, B.C.
Mary was a devoted mother and wife. She volunteered at the United Church and her children’s elementary school. She was a creative seamstress, baker, knitter, hardworking housekeeper and amazing gardener.
Mary lived a full life despite her failing health in the past few years. Mary and Keith travelled extensively throughout Canada, USA and Mexico in their motorhomes. Mary is predeceased by her husband Keith Bright (Aug. 24, 1924 - June 12, 2013).
Mary will be dearly missed by her children; Howard (Joanne) Bright, Deedrea Lewis (Brian Waddington), Patricia (Bob) Allaby, Pamela (Jim) Edgar, her ten grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of the Waverly in Chilliwack for their compassion and care.
