

Barbara Sue Heal, aged 84, passed away on May 8, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on April 9, 1941, Barbara dedicated much of her life to her career as a bookkeeper, a role in which she was highly respected for her precision and reliability.
Barbara was known for her gentle soul, deeply valuing her family and friends, whose lives were enriched by her supportive and wise presence. She found great solace and community in her faith, actively participating in the Ironton Baptist Church of Little Rock.
Her personal interests included avid reading and crocheting, and she had a special love for Yorkshire Terriers, which brought her much joy throughout her life. Zooey, her beloved Yorkie, will undoubtedly miss her dearly. She also resided in Tucson, Arizona, with her husband, Ken, for several years and developed a love for the Southwest.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Tony Butler and Talmadge Butler and his wife, Carol; stepdaughter, Laura McDonald, her husband, Ray, and family; brother, Larry White and his wife, Mary Ellen; nephews, Chris White and Joe White; nieces, Sherri White and Alisha Stephenson, and Sherri’s son, Kyle; granddaughters, Taylor Butler, Sarah Butler, and Amy Jordon; grandson, Jeremiah Jordon; great-grandchildren, Addison, Ayden, Aliah, and Nala, and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth G. Heal; father, Jesse Allen White; mother, Freda Mae White; and brother, Jesse Wayne White.
A Memorial Service will be held at Ironton Baptist Church in Little Rock on Saturday, May 17th, at 1:00 p.m. Barbara will be laid to rest at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Those who knew her will remember a woman whose life was a testament to the virtues of kindness, faith, and family devotion.
