Billy Gene Trimble, age 92, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was born on December 2, 1932 in Haynesville, LA to the late Vaster L. Trimble and Pauline B. Tinsley. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his sister, Betty McNiel.
Bill was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. After his honorable discharge, he continued his passion for aviation, working as a pilot for Fairfield Land Communities and the Arkansas Department of Transportation before retiring.
Those left to cherish Bill's memory include his sons, Kent Trimble and Kyle (Christy) Trimble; grandchildren, Nick (Raven) Trimble, Lindsay (John) Hodges, Clay (Rebekah) Trimble, Shelbi (Chris) Reynolds, Lucas Potts, and Lindy Trimble; great-grandchildren, Baylor Trimble, Baker Trimble, Blakely Trimble, Lincoln Trimble, River Trimble, and Rowan Trimble.
Bill will be laid to rest at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Services are private.
