Brenda Kay Gogus, age 79, of Conway, passed away August 20, 2023. She was born December 26, 1943, to the late Therman Harper and Wavie (Miller) Harper in Madison, West Virginia. Brenda is also preceded in death by her companion of 33 years, Frank D. Davis; son, Mickey Gogus; brother, Charles Harper; and sister, Ina McGrail.
Brenda moved to Arkansas in the 1960’s where she worked at the Arkansas Democrat Gazette as a Pre-Press Advertising Coordinator and started her family that she loved dearly. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, family time and making homemade bread, which she was known for.
Brenda is survived by her son, Steve Gogus of Virginia Beach; special daughter-in-law, Teresa Gogus of Alexander; two grandchildren whom she loved and cherished dearly, Cody Gogus and Sydney Gogus both of Alexander; one great-grandson who brought such joy to her life, Easton Gogus; and brother, Wendell Harper (Marie) of Van, West Virginia.

Private graveside memorial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Arrangements are under the director of Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 Hwy 5 N, Alexander, AR 72002.
