Cameron Clay Allison, aged 21, passed away on Jan. 28, 2026. Born Aug. 20, 2004, in Little Rock, AR, to his loving parents, Holly and Jeffery Cagle. Grandparents Curt & Shirley Burrill. Cameron brought such joy & love to his family and friends and although his time with us was so short—that boy lived!
One of Cameron’s favorite activities was throwing. Throwing anything: toys, shoes, plants. He loved going for a ride in the red truck with his Pops. He loved toy cars, especially Volkswagen bugs and he even had one in his hand the day he left us. He loved music, school, riding on the bus, and spending time with his “pretty little mama.” He loved getting in beds every time he saw one. He loved children’s voices and had a unique way of connecting with the kindness in everyone. Cameron also had a particular penchant for pretty girls - he was a bit of a ladies man. Moving and grooving to his music everywhere he went - Cameron marched to the beat of his own drum. As any good Arkansan - he did not like wearing shoes and socks and took them off as often as possible. He really enjoyed his toes and neck being rubbed; not only did he enjoy it - he expected it. If you were ever lucky enough to have Cameron consider you funny, you’d have heard his giggle. If you did something he found to be hilarious, you got the gift of his chuckle.
Although he never spoke a word, his voice & thoughts could be heard by everyone who knew him.
He was a 3x medal winner in Special Olympics each year. His best event was the backwards throw. He received the “Best Walker” award in 1st grade and was on the Dean’s List in 14th grade at Bryant. He overcame incredible odds after being born at 24 weeks and weighing almost 2 pounds at birth. He endured an incredible number of surgeries & health crises.
In addition to his parents & grandparents, he leaves his little sister Haley, whom he loved and who she sure loved him. He also leaves aunts, uncles, cousins & special extended family in Texas & Ohio: Melissa and Matus Dedina; cousins Kai and Marek of the Czech Republic; Matt Mosby of Dallas, TX; Joshua and Carley Bernardo Barrett of Dallas; Mandee and Brandon Barnum and cousin Soren of Little Rock; Haley Cagle & cousin Deandre of Sherwood; and special puppy brother & cousin Smokey & Milo.
His spirit remains in the hearts of those he touched. We will always cherish his memory. He taught us to be better people.
A memorial service will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas, 72002. The service is scheduled for February 7, 2026, starting at 1:00 pm.
