Cheryl Marie Etheridge

Cheryl Marie Etheridge, age 79, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born on July 11, 1945, in New York, New York to the late Earl Hutchinson and Betty McGough. In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in death by her son, Curt Etheridge and brother, Bobby Hutchinson.

Cheryl was a strong-willed, hardworking, and determined woman who gave generously, especially of her time. She was incredibly intelligent and accomplished many things in her life, but above all, she was most proud of her family. A talented tennis player, she played for over 30 years, demonstrating the same perseverance and dedication that defined every aspect of her life. Cheryl’s unwavering love and support for her children were at the heart of everything she did, and her legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion will live on in those who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Cheryl's memory include her beloved husband, Robert Etheridge; daughter, Shon (Rich) Hesley; son, Todd Etheridge; grandchildren, Tanner Etheridge, Jacob (Surahbi) Blankenship, Kaci (Tripp) Stringfellow, and Nick Centofante; great-grandson, Mason Stringfellow; as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

A visitation for Cheryl will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, AR 72002, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Cheryl will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
