Dovey Lynn Tweedy

Dovey was a great mom and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing scrabble, and going out to eat. She loved her cats and beautiful flowers. To Dovey her family, friends and cats were important to her. Dovey’s empathy and compassion for others was her trademark and guiding light. From her quirky sense of humor to her bellowing laugh. She enriched all of our lives in so many ways and her passing will leave a big hole in our lives.

At a young age, she started in the banking industry as a bank teller and worked her way up to being a branch manager. Later in life, she enjoyed her job at UAEX as a receptionist. She loved and enjoyed intermingling and connecting with the people that would come through the doors and her coworkers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Gregory Allen Coon and William Joseph Kampbell, Jr.; David, Jeremy, Cheryl Hughes and families; best friend, Shelly Finnigan and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and L.E. Sisco and sister, Teena Louise Bray.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Pinecrest Memorial Park
