Doyle Bennett McJunkin Sr.

Doyle Bennett McJunkin Sr., age 90, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was born on October 27, 1934, to the late James Lee and Lonie Ellen McJunkin. In addition to his parents, Doyle is preceded in death by 5 brothers; 5 sisters; and 2 grandsons.

A lifelong automotive enthusiast and dedicated professional in the industry, Doyle had a passion for Hot Rods that was matched only by his love of the open fairway. An avid golfer and a man who appreciated the beauty of a finely tuned engine, he brought that same care and attention to everything he did. But above all, Doyle cherished his time with his grandbabies — their laughter, their stories, and the simple joy of being together. His legacy lives on in every engine that hums, every swing of the club, and every smile he inspired in those who loved him most.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 71 years, Sue McJunkin; children, Pamela (Michael) Lucero, Doyle "Butch" (Karen) McJunkin Jr., Casey (Casey Anne) McJunkin; grandchildren, Shawn Littleton, Shanna Littleton, Jeremy McJunkin, Chelsea McJunkin, Carmen McJunkin, and Candace McJunkin; 3 great-grandchildren, Dakota McJunkin, Jackson McJunkin, and Whitley; as well as many other beloved family and friends.

A visitation for Doyle will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, AR 72002. A graveside will occur Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, AR 72002.
