Ms. Helen Faye Woods

She was born June 30, 1945 to the late Rufus and Jewell Dorothy Jones

She was a devoted Christian, and a wonderful mother to not only her children but to many others. Her house was always full of much love and laughter. She was known for her Sunday dinners and hosting Holidays and Family Celebrations in her home. When able she always had pot of beans on the stove with pan of cornbread and always wanted to fry you some taters when you walked through the door. She was special in so many ways, she always had a smile on her face and a giving heart. She will be missed more than she would ever know.

Helen is survived by sister, Shirley Jones (Tim Greer) of Benton; children, Jerald Woods (Tammy) of Malvern, Becky Woods Mitchell of Bauxite, Randy Woods of Benton; Daughter in Law, Tammy Martin of Little Rock; grandchildren, Rusty Mitchell, Heather Mitchell, Jennifer Mitchell Tucker (Levi), Tarynn Woods (Billy), Micah Woods (Tyler), Meghan Woods, and Jake Woods; great-grandchildren, Easton Knighten, Caleb, Lily, Jude Tucker, Ellie and Emmie Dodd; cousin, Edna Ladd; sister in law, Marilynn McCrystal; nephew and niece, Peter(Mary) Caruso of Florida; special friends/family members, Homekeo “Bobby” Covington, Shelley Ramsey, and Phyllis Sims.

Proceeded by her parents, sister and brother in law, Phyllis and Ron George; the father of her Children, Jerry Woods; mother and father in Law, Reverend Gladys Woods and Reverend Elvies Woods, special friends, Patsy Prince and Ruth Bearden.

A graveside for Helen will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Arkansas 72002.
