

Jeanne Duren, age 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 31, 2024. She was born on August 21, 1946, in El Paso, Texas, to the late Samuel and Nettie Carr. Jeanne was the beloved wife of the late Ed Duren.
Jeanne was a jokester and brought laughter wherever she went. She was known for her sense of humor and her ability to be the life of the party. She was a pleasure to be around, always making others smile. Jeanne had a humble and down-to-earth personality that endeared her to everyone she met.
In her professional life, Jeanne worked as a server and expeditor at Gold Strike Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, for most of her life. She was dedicated and took pride in her work.
When she wasn't working, Jeanne enjoyed telling jokes, watching videos of monkeys, and watching WWE wrestling. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished spending time with them.
Jeanne is survived by her loving daughters, June Kitzmiller (Norman) and Cathy Nightingale (John). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Amber Smith, Anthony Reagan, Blake Reagan, Brandon Reagan, and Ashly Peterson, as well as her five great-grandchildren. Jeanne is also survived by her twin sister, Jane Stafford (Dale), and her brothers, Dale Carr (Inge), Clifford Carr (Sandi), and Jesse Carr.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed Duren, and several siblings.
Visitation for Jeanne will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and the service to follow directly after at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, AR 72002.
Jeanne Duren will be remembered for her laughter, her funny jokes, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
