Judy was retired from Interstate Sign Company, where she worked with dedication and pride for many years. She was known for her warm heart, fierce love for her family, quick wit, and the effortless grace with which she carried herself throughout her life.
She was married to the love of her life, James Dixon, for 51 beautiful years. Together they built a life full of laughter, love, and deep connection. James preceded her in death, as did their beloved son, Chris Dixon; her parents, Loma Duer and Bud Isaac Duer; her sisters Bonnie Walker and Maryann McCoskey; and her brothers Buddy Paul Duer, Mark Duer, Tommy Duer, and Robert Duer.
Judy is survived by her sister, Sandra Knox of Little Rock; her cherished grandsons, Clay Dixon of Illinois and Kyle Dixon of Bryant, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends who were touched by her kindness, humor, and unwavering love.
Judy shared an especially close bond with her grandson Kyle Dixon, who was not only her grandson but also her daily joy and companion.
Among those who held a special place in Judy's heart were her great-nephews Burklee Isom, Remington Knox, Oliver Knox, and William Knox. She adored these boys, and the joy they brought to her life was immeasurable. Time spent with them was full of play, warmth, and stories—stories only Judy could tell with her signature sparkle and wit.
Judy had a sharp sense of humor and was an incredible storyteller. Her recollections of family shenanigans were legendary—full of vivid detail, laughter, and just the right amount of mischief. She had a gift for bringing memories to life.
Judy had a deep love for her family. She loved them fiercely, and her nurturing spirit was the foundation of countless gatherings, holidays, and celebrations. Her home was always open, always warm, and always filled with good food, hugs, and a quiet kind of beauty that made everyone feel at home.
Judy also had a deep love for travel. Whether it was a road trip to a nearby town or a faraway adventure, she embraced the journey and the joy of new experiences. Exploring new places brought her happiness, and she especially loved sharing those memories with her family and friends.
Her strength, elegance, and joy were constant reminders of the beauty of a life well lived.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Pinecrest Memorial Park to honor and remember Judy’s incredible life and the love she shared with all who knew her.
In remembrance of her legacy the family asks that you share a laugh, tell a story, and hug someone you love—just as Judy would have wanted.
She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever cherished. “Who loves you, Baby”?
