Krista Larson

Krista was born to Thomas and Marjorie (Hogge) Evans on May 28, 1955 in Dumas, TX. She moved from Texas to Arkansas in the early 1970s. Krista was a woman of faith, and was a founding member of Fellowship Bible Church (Benton), formerly Saline Community Church. She married Jim Larson on June 29, 1986. Krista worked as a nurse before devoting her time to her family as a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, and especially treasured visits with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; a son, Joe Larson and wife Tia of Camarillo, California; a daughter, Erin Franks and husband Jason of Benton, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Emma, Darcy, and Jasper Larson, Kate and Addison Jones, and Madden and Austen Franks; a brother, Charley Evans; four sisters, Carol Keys, Carla Evans, Jackie Cordell and Ann Murry; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Krista was preceded in death by her parents; as well as three brothers, James, Jerry, and Carl Evans.

A visitation will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 AR-5 N, Alexander, AR 72002. Memories and condolences may be left at www.pinecrestmemorialpark.com.
