Lareda Delores Kindy Smith, age 79, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. Lareda was born on August 12, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Reedy and Edith Kindy. In addition to her parents, Lareda was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 60 years, Danny Smith; and brother, Wayne Kindy.
Lareda worked for Mike Dillard and Bill Dillard III for a total of 25 years. She and her husband also owned a flower and gift shop in East End, called The Woodworker and Mam, where she found great joy—and shared it with many others—through her incredible talent for creating beautiful floral arrangements.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Danniwayne (Jacqueline) Smith and Edye (Russell) Crouse; grandchildren, Dillon (Lydia) Crouse, Amber (Josh) Cissell, and Haley (Hunter) Wood; great-grandchildren, Rainey Wood, Ruby Crouse, Bekah Crouse, Rogan Cissell, Jack Crouse, Sutton Cissell, and Sterling Wood; as well as many other beloved family and friends.
A memorial gathering for Lareda will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, AR 72002.
