

Pamela Kim James, age 66, passed away on November 22, 2025. She was born on January 5, 1959, in Bradenton, Florida, to William B. Mullis and Barbara Alexander. Pamela was preceded in death by her father.
Kim will be remembered for the deep love she carried for her family and her tireless devotion to the causes she believed in. She was the founder of Helping Hands for Little Paws animal rescue organization, where her compassion for animals changed countless lives. She also dedicated her time to East End Elementary as both a volunteer and a substitute, faithfully serving the children and staff of her community. Those left to cherish her memory include, her mother, Barbara Alexander; husband, Russell James; and four children, Tricia James, Rebecca McCarty, Justin James and daughter-in-law Danielle James , and Crystal James. She is also survived by her brother, William Sterling Mullis, and sister-in-law, Sonya Mullis, along with their children, Zachary and Summer; her sister, Lisa Mullis, and brother-in-law, Joe Jacobs, and their daughter, McKenna. Pamela leaves behind six cherished grandchildren.
A church service honoring Pamela’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on December 6th at 13901 Quail Run Dr., Little Rock, AR 72210. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to www.teamfurr.org/donate or www.hassaline.org/donate.
