Patricia Glenda Ellis

Patty spent many summers on vacation trips with her Aunt Gloria and Uncle Frank of Dallas, TX, and they had great adventures in many states over the years. After high school, Patty attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and graduated in 2000 with a certificate in Surgical Technology and began her long career as a surgical technician. She worked in Little Rock and northwest Arkansas for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital network and loved her profession and the friendships she developed. In 2012, she traveled to Africa with a medical mission group and worked in the country of Kenya. Patty’s constant smile and laugh will be missed by so many of her loving friends, including Ashley L, Jen, Ashley N, Todd, and her family. She will be remembered by everyone as our baby sister, my best friend, my awesome niece, my loving aunt, my love, the best corgi-mom to Gus, or the best cat-mom to Karma.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Patsy Ellis. Patty is survived by her brother Charles Glen Ellis (Diana) of Parker, CO and nephew Grant of Lubbock, TX and niece Vivian of Brooklyn, NY, and her sister Katherine Irene Leslie (Darin) and nephew Griffin of Benton, AR. She is also survived by her aunt Gloria Ellis Lewis of Dallas, TX.

A graveside for Patty will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 10201 Highway 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas.
