Rita Carol Byers

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior on Easter Sunday in 1974 and served the church in various roles. She was the Executive Director of Independent Living Resource Center, Inc. d.b.a. Mainstream in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Rita is pre-deceased by her parents, her sister, Missionary Robin Jones and other relatives.

Her memory is cherished by her daughter, Shara (Sederick) Byers-Rice; three grandchildren, Jonathan L. Stubblefield, Sarai C. Stubblefield, and Skylar C. Rice; three brothers, Rick (Hope) Jones, Raymond Jones, and Randall (Jackie) Jones; one sister, Rowena Williams-Washington; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, the Elect Temple church membership and friends.

A visitation will be held on January 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Elect Temple Church of God In Christ, located at 307 Johnson, Benton, AR, 72015. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the visitation, also at the church from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, AR, 72002. A full obituary is available at www.pinecrestfh.com.
