Robert M Tanner

On Saturday, May 28, 2016, Robert Marshall Tanner passed away. He was born May 15, 1956 to Robert and Elsie Tanner. Robert gave four years of service to the Air Force before marrying Tammy Tanner in 1992. Two daughters made their family complete in 1993 and 1995. He was a loyal and passionate member of the Veterans Affairs Office in North Little Rock where he worked for 31 years before retiring in 2012. He also enjoyed several years as a founder and member of the Hallelujah Harmony Quartet before his health made leaving a necessity.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife; Tammy (Bulthuis) Tanner, two daughters, Valerie Newman (Garry) and Amanda Higgs (Wayne) ; two sisters, Kim Long (Scott)and Pam Hamrick (Art); two brothers, Terry Tanner (Teresa) and James Tanner and four grandsons.

Services will be 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at the Hurricane Lake Estates Clubhouse.
