Shirley Ruth Johnson

Shirley married James Johnson, Sr., the love of her life on December 19, 1959. Together they had 2 children.

Shirley loved watching Razorback basketball, TLC shows and Hallmark movies and traveling but most of all she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings: Norman, Clara, Ruby, Lillian, Alvis, Reva, Louis, Iva Lou, Jewell, and Coynell and by her husband James.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Janelle Johnson of Benton, son James Jr (Suzanne) Johnson of Lonsdale, Grandson Daniel Johnson of Wasilla, AK and granddaughter Kaitlin Johnson and her fiancé Chris Rigsby of Conway, AR as well as many loving nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Services will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Alexander, AR on Thursday, December 9. The family will receive guests beginning at 11. The service will begin at 12pm with committal to follow at 1pm. She will be laid to rest beside James at Pinecrest. Officiating the service is Greg Thompson.

The family respectfully request that all guest wear mask for the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MEMS foundation for furthering the education of local paramedics and EMTS at AEMF, PO Box 2452, Little Rock, AR 72203
