Virgil retired from Almatis where he worked in the maintenance department.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Toliese Burnett, daughter Shenan Yancey (John); grandchildren, JB Yancey, Tanner Yancey, and Dusty Yancey; his sister, Penny Bates(Ronnie); nephew, Ronnie Bates(Stacy); niece, Aimee Sauer(Michael), and three great nieces. He is preceded in death by his mother, and his nephew, Tim Bates.
A memorial service will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home(7401 AR-5, Alexander, Arkansas 72002) on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Bob Farrow officiating.
