William Henry Baswell

William began his career in optical Business delivering glasses to eye doctors on his bicycle for Baush & Lomb. He ended his career as a Dispensing Optician for Deer Optical at the age of 70. In his spare time you would find him fishing or playing his guitar.

He married the love of his life, Kathleen and together they had four children, Diana Johnston (Kevin), Donna Battistone (Frank), Billy Baswell (Renee), Wade Baswell, nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, all of whom survive him. He was preceded in death by 4 ½ Brothers and 3 ½ Sisters.

He leaves behind a wonderful friend and fishing buddy, Jim Walker and a dearly beloved friend since 4th grade, SC Archer, the last survivor of the 12th St. Gang.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM, Brother Ed Hinkson of Hebron Baptist Church officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until time of service at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HWY 5 N, Alexander, AR, 72002. Immediately following the service, burial will be at Harmony
