Hope Joyce (Flansburg) Carlucci, 82, of Waldorf, MD passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016. Daughter of the late P. D. and Ann Flansburg, Hope was an Air Force wife and bingo playing shark. She donated generously to the American Cancer Society, Diabetes Foundation, and Billy Graham. She is survived by her children, John, Phyllis (Rick), Robert (Renee) and Richard (J.R.); eleven grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ann Smith of Hampton, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony Carlucci, her sister, Audrey Thomas, and brother, Phil Flansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm at Demaine Funeral Home in Alexandria on Friday, July 8. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1pm on Saturday, July 9. Interment will occur at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
