Our hearts are with the Ferguson Family. We are in shock and mourning for our beloved Jamey. He was a son that any mother and father would cherish and love. A sweet smile and a wonderful young man. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

May God bless the soul of Jamey Ferguson, one of the world's most loyal and caring friends. His love for life and for people will be missed by all of us whether we met him in elementary school or later in life. He touched many of our lives with his generous and caring spirit. Rest in peace, my friend! I will keep the entire family in my prayers as they navigate this difficult loss.

From God we came and to Him we shall return. So sorry to hear of Jamey's passing. Jamey worked with us at United Bank in Virginia. He was a great guy to be around. May God grant him peace and bring comfort and ease to his family and those close to him. Amen.

I was so saddened to hear about Jamey.  I worked with him in his Ringling Bros. days and will always remember him for his beautiful smile and happy disposition. Prayers to his family and friends.

I knew Jamey probably since 5th grade or so at Ft Hunt Elementary and then on to West Potomac.  I remember particularly hanging out a lot with him, Mark S, and David M during 8th & 9th grades.  He was always a fun person to be around and I seem to recall he had a great ability to observe the nuances that other people couldn't see and make a joke out of it.  So sorry for your loss. Jamey & I met at Stephen Foster Middle school. We were in an intro to foreign language class together...he was the more outgoing of the two of us, and he was quick to make new friends. We remained friends throughout High School. I was the year ahead of him so I pretty much left WEPO and never looked back, so we did not keep in touch. I will always remember a funny, friendly, happy, smiling Jamey. I am sure he will be dearly missed by those who are close to him. He's just one of those people you are lucky to meet in life. My prayers for his family and friends as the heavens receive a shiny new star.

I met Jamey in the 7th grade...we liked each other immediately and he asked me out. Our dating relationship lasted maybe a week, but our friendship lasted decades more. If I needed a hug, or help, or a good laugh, I could always count on Jamey to pick me up or calm me down. Though we lost touch after high school, I was thrilled to see him at our 20th reunion. His smiling face greeted me and I'm thankful for the selfie we took that night. My heart aches for your loss and I hope that knowing so many people loved Jamey brings you some comfort.
