On Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022, Joan Louise Kruk (79), of Alexandria, VA passed away. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Raymond Kruk and loving mother of Jeannette A. Creger and Aileen L. Smith and her husband Kevin S. Smith. Dear grandmother of Christopher L. Creger, Jeremy M. Creger, Caitlin L. DeVoll and her husband AJ DeVoll, and Madison A. Smith.
Joan served her community as a registered nurse. She enjoyed the beach, traveling, and being with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished by all.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Demaine Funeral Home at 520 S. Washington St, Alexandria, VA 22314 on Friday, August 26th 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Catholic mass will be held at the Basilica of Saint Mary, 310 S, Royal St, Alexandria, VA on Saturday, August 27th at 11:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to the American Cancer Society as well as the Frederick County 4H Therapeutic Riding Program of Frederick, MD.
