Keith Joseph O’Donnell: joyful life imagineer, storyteller and family super hero. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in the early morning on Tuesday, September 22nd. As a child, Keith saw and created doorways to other worlds from discarded moving boxes. As an adult, he saw the colors of flowers beneath the snow before blooming in the spring, and he saw royalty in his daughters Lily and Erin and Mary, his wife of ten years. Born in Quito, Ecuador in 1969 as the third child to a Navy family, Keith traveled the world. He was proud of his British elementary education in Suffolk, England. His childhood crucible formed a wonder-heart, embracing lifelong friendships both easily and freely. He studied and loved art in all forms. He flourished early in his career that was a marriage of technology and art under the tutelage of a Disney animator. Together they breathed life into the US Mint H.I.P. Pocket change cartoon pals, teaching children that coins are history in your pocket. More recently, #1 public sector consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton graced Keith with the tools and team to blend his love of art with a passion for his country and his top secret clearance. His wife and family were the center of his universe; its heart and soul. He particularly loved planning costumes and dressing up with his family for Halloween. He celebrated his own birthday with a vengeance, always taking that day off. He is predeceased by his daughter, Naomi Joy and his father, Keith William Patrick O’Donnell. Keith is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; daughters, Lily and Erin; mother Mary Len Trippe, brother Shawn, sister-in law Suzanne, his sister Kathleen, sister-in-law Erin Elliott and nephews Kyle and Ryan O’Donnell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making a donation to a college fund being set up for his daughters. https://www.gofundme.com/ka4raxtg
