A long-time resident of Alexandria, VA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Mrs. Hertz, who was born and spent her early years in Asheville, NC, was predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Col. Rudolf J. Hertz. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Harvey of Arden, NC; children Terrence (Judy) Hertz of Alexandria, VA; Kathleen (Bud) Wright of Alexandria, VA; Randall (Susan) Hertz of Raleigh, NC; and Erik (Charlotte) Hertz of Berlin, MD; grandchildren Ellen Wright of Brooklyn, NY; Ryan (Lucy) Hertz of Melbourne, FL; Spencer Wright of Bethesda, MD; Lisa Hertz of St. Petersburg, FL; Mary-Margaret Hertz of Raleigh, NC; MacKenzie Hertz of Alexandria, VA; and Abigail Hertz of Raleigh, NC; and great grandchildren Jane and Will Hertz.
