On November 29, 2013, at 4:15 p.m. in Arlington Virginia, Paul Saunders, beloved husband of the late Ingrid Saunders, passed away peacefully at the age of 93. Paul was a Holocaust survivor and is survived by his daughter, Livia Griffith and her husband, Jim Griffith, his son, Ralph Saunders and his wife Diana O'Hara, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial will be held for him on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home 520 South Washington St. Alexandria, VA 22314. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Paul's name to So Others Might Eat (http://www.some.org), the SPCA of Northern VA (http://www.spcanova.org).
