She is lovingly remembered by her sons Zlatan and Jasenko, her daughter-in-law Danijela, her cherished granddaughters Emma and Ella, and her sister Sabaha, as well as many close relatives and friends across the United States and Europe.
Senka was born on December 6, 1953, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Domagoj Sisul. She made her home in Falls Church, Virginia, where she built a life centered on family, friendships, strength, and resilience.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the funeral service on March 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, Virginia. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, 6600 S. Kings Highway, Alexandria, Virginia.
Senka will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
