

Albert Bosgraaf, 83, of Casselberry, FL passed away on November 28, 2015. He was born to the late Albert and Catharina Bosgraaf in Hoogezand, The Netherlands on January 14, 1932. Albert was married to his wife, Janny, for 58 years. Together they moved from Holland to Canada, and then to Florida in 1968. Albert worked as a building contractor and his company ‘Al Bosgraaf & Sons’ became incorporated in 1976. Although he was referred to as a “workaholic,” Albert always made time to spend with his family. He was a loving husband, a great father, and the best “Opa” to his grandchildren. Aside from his career, Albert loved fishing, boating, camping, singing (in the shower), playing cards, and Dutch soccer among many things. He was known to be a jokester, always making people laugh. Albert was involved in the Cosmopolitan Club and the Dutch club. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Albert was preceded in his passing by his brother, Arie Bosgraaf; sister, Hennie Bosgraaf; and grandson, Cody. He is survived by his loving wife, Janny Bosgraaf; sons, Gerald Bosgraaf (Kelly) and John Bosgraaf (Fran); brothers, Frans Bosgraaf and Martin Bosgraaf (Dina); sister, Lida Nieboer (Jan); grandchildren Autumn, Hannah, Jacqueline, and Meghan; as well as many other close family members and friends. A Celebration of Albert’s life will be held on Saturday December 5 at 2pm at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte, 994 E Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
