Barbara Jean McKenna

She moved to Central Florida at a young age and had been a longtime resident of Central Florida. In 1956, she married Timothy McKenna. Barbara was an active member of the Aloma Church, the Lions Club, and UCT (United Commercial Travelers). She was an excellent cook and loved to garden and travel. She lived in Germany and Japan and traveled to Taiwan, Australia and many places in the United States.

Barbara is survived by her brother; Chuck and his wife Judy Hargrove; her children; Jim and his wife, Patty McKenna, Kathy and her husband, Robert Sikes, Karen and her husband, Rick Copeland, and Joe and his wife, Cammy McKenna; her grandchildren; Ben and his wife, Meghan McKenna, Lindsey and her husband, Alex Funke, Tim and his wife, Jordan Copeland, Heather Sikes, Ashley Sikes, Grace Riera and her husband, Mostafa Alamair, and Mitchell Riera; her great grandchildren; Warren Funke and Seneca Alamair. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy, in 1985, and her companion Billy Borgard, who she spent the last 22 years with.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 24 at 10am at Baldwin Fairchild, East Altamonte Chapel with viewing to start at 9:30am. Burial will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park, Casselberry.
