My heart is very heavy and saddened right now as I just learned the news that my dear fried has gone to Heaven and I will miss her.  We met Jim and Bea when we moved to Florida and started attending the Concord Road Church of Christ. They immediately took us under their wings and became our 2nd family. After 10 years we moved back to Alabama and Wiley began to have heart problems and we went back and stayed with Bea for a month while Wiley took Chelation treatments for his heart. Jim had already gone to Heaven,she taught me how to make quilt tops while we were there.
We had so much fun with Jim and Bea through the years. Spending every Thanksgiving with them, going to auctions together and joking about them just stating to get their s.s. checks and how rich they would be. They stood up as grandparents at Ronnie's Wedding. I could write a book on them and the good times we shared. Even though I live hundreds of miles away it will never be the same knowing she is not there doing yard work in her beautiful yard at her house in Casselberry, Fla. Will miss you and always love you, my precious Bea.

Just learned this. My heartfelt condolences for the family. Jerry and Joyce, my prayer is for comfort and strength. May your precious memories sustain you as you face the days ahead.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to visit with Doc and Bea a few times. It was always so much fun and what a good cook she was. She always loved showing the quilts she was working on. She was a person who loved life, her family, and people. When I think of her I always think of her with a smile on her face. 
She will be missed.

Bea was such a wonderful lady. She was a beautiful example of a Godly woman. It was always a joy to be in her presence. We will miss her so much but know that we will be reunited one day in heaven. 
We would love to have been with the family these last few days but were unable to make the trip. We love you all and have you in our hearts.

Condolences to the family...It was a blessing to know such a faithful, loving, kind Sister in Christ.  She will be remembered well and missed by all.

My family was truly blessed to know this wonderful Sister in Christ.  She will be missed.

She always loved me like one of her own from when I first met her through all the years of being with her when we could in the summer or at Christmas. So funny and talented at quilting. I love how she kept the miniature yellow rose bush to the left of her driveway just so she could keep one clipped and in the tiny vase on the table next to what was Doc's chair because he always liked them. She noticed the little things and not much got past her at all. That yellow rose was one example; she would always smell her house up to cook me cabbage if she had fresh out of her garden because she knew I loved it. She didn't care what a mess the grandkids made to pull the material out of her closet and look at it or have something to play with if a rainy day hit and they needed activity. She, like Jesus, was available to people and never was too busy to be present with you or do for others if they needed it. A true gem.

I cherish my time with her here and know Heaven is just a more fun place to be now that she's in the mansion. I can just hear her passing the Pearly Gates with, "what youins' doing in here?" oh how she could make others smile!

Linda and I wanted to express our condolences and love to the whole family but especially to Jerry and Joyce. The legacy of faith sister Beatrice passed on is obvious and powerful. We pray God will help your hearts heal and that her memory and example will continue to bring comfort to those left behind and glory to God for years to come. We love you.

I consider myself blessed to have known  and been her friend. Have many found memories of playing Rook on the weekends and her delicious lemon poundcake!  Sending comforting prayers to the entire family.

What a beautiful and fitting photo of Beatrice. Sooo loved her. She was indeed a wonderful Christian example, loving, hospitable, sharing and compassionate. She will indeed be missed here.
