

Billie Kelley, age 90, passed away March 7, 2025 in Tallahassee, FL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Neill Kelley, her parents William and Fannie Mae Ryan and her husband's parents Emerson and Tilla Kelley. She is survived by her 3 children Patricia Kelley Kunkler, Jack Kevin Kelley and Lisa Kelley Walter (husband Mike) and her 3 grandchildren Sarah Jean Kunkler, Edwin Andrew Kunkler IV (wife Sophia) and Alison Kelley Walter.
She was born and raised in Louisville, KY and after graduating from high school, relocated to Denver, CO where she worked as a civil servant for the Air Force. There she met Robert Kelley, an Air Force officer and the two of them fell in love and wed in 1958. They traveled the world with the Air Force. Pat and Jack were born in Madrid, Spain in 1959 and 1960 and Lisa was born in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1964. After a final tour at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Robert retired from the Air Force in 1969 and relocated the family to Orlando, FL. Robert passed in 1977 and Billie remained a widow until she died.
Her full time job was being a wife and mother. She had many duties as an officer's wife while in the Air Force. After Robert's death and her children were grown, she took up ballroom dancing and spent many years taking lessons and participating in competitions, which included quite a bit of travel.
Once her grandchildren were born, she spent as much time as possible in Quincy, FL and in Pine, CO to be with them and attended all of their significant life events. Over the years, the family would reunite and vacation in Cocoa Beach, FL the 1st week of August.
Billie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, dancer and devout Catholic. She attended Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando from 1969-2020 and then attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Tallahassee from 2020 until her death. She will be deeply missed.
A visitation for Billie will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4545 Anderson Rd, Orlando, FL 32812. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4545 Anderson Rd, Orlando, FL 32812. A graveside service will occur Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789.
