Carol H. Henritzy, 74, of Apopka, FL, passed away March 6, 2018. She was born in Jersey City, NJ on December 7, 1943. Carol graduated from William L. Dickinson High School. She was faithfully married to Richard “Dick” Henritzy on April 1, 1967, and was always by his side until the day he passed away on August 18, 2001.
Carol was a Jill of All Trades and had many varied careers. She most recently worked as a meticulous book keeper for All Comfort Care. However, she is best remembered as owner of Carol’s Home Deli in Colonia, New Jersey, where she catered and served many with a great gusto. Carol had a passion for cooking, hosting holidays and celebrations, and making everyone feel loved and welcomed. She was a caring friend and mother-figure to everyone and welcomed you into her home with a kiss and a meal. She was also a dedicated mother and selfless caretaker to her recently deceased son Richard J. Henritzy.
Carol is survived by her loving daughter Danette R. Fuller and son in-law Michael Fuller of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Olivia Grace (6) and Ariella Joy (4), who were her pride & joy; her two brothers, Raymond and Daniel Szymanski, and sister in-law Margaret Szymanski, all of Orlando, FL.
