

June 17, 2025. She was born in Masonville in the upper peninsula of Michigan on August 20,1937. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Ceila (Trudeau) Terrien.
She was a graduate of Waukegan High School in Waukegan IL and married Frederick J
Ponzio shortly after graduation. Their marriage would later dissolve.
She then moved to Kenosha WI where she met and married John (Grant) Bleashka and
worked for the City of Kenosha, holding various positions with the Police, Fire and Water
Department from which she retired.
After retirement, she relocated from Wisconsin to Florida. She enjoyed traveling around the
world and was a member of the Red Hat Society and Moose Lodge #655.
In addition to traveling after her retirement, Terrie enjoyed spending time with her family,
crafting, playing cards, with the girls, going to the casinos, doing crossword and jigsaw
puzzles and was an avid Wisconsin Packer and Badger fan.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Barbara (Tom) Derrick, brothers Paul
(Lynette) Terrien Jr. and Charles (Antoinette) Terrien.
She is survived by her five children Frederick J Ponzio Jr., Linda J Ponzio, Susan R Amann
(Ponzio), Laurie L (Haward) May and Joseph J (Lisa) Bleashka, granddaughters Christina R
Amann and Katie L Scott, her four great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and
nephews.
Visitation for Carolyn will be held on Sunday June 22, 2025, at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral
Home, 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM with
Services and reception to follow.
