Dan met the love of his life, Kathy, at a record hop dance in their hometown of Leominster, Massachusetts. He had first seen her working at the soda fountain a week prior – when he saw her again at the dance, he knew he had to meet her. This year marked their 63 year anniversary.

As well as showing grit in his career, Dan was incredibly resilient, surviving multiple hardships in his early life. He brought joy to all who knew him. He could always take a tough situation and turn it into something filled with laughter. Dan was also a brilliant mind who knew every fact of history – something he often shared with his grandchildren. He was an ambitious man who was successful in his career, a caring husband and loving father, and a beloved grandfather. He will be missed.
