Floyd N. Goodall, founder and owner of F.N. Goodall Well Drilling and Pumps, now in it's 63rd year in business and Past President of Florida Water and Well Association, passed away November 24th, 2018 at the Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Floyd was born in Caldwell. Kentucky on May 20th, 1933 to Wilbur and Bonnie Goodall
In 1935, Floyd, his parents and siblings moved to Longwood, Florida and was considered some of the original pioneers of Historic Downtown Longwood.
He served proudly in the U.S. Army and was a proud Korean War Veteran. For his exemplary service, he recieved the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of The American Legion Post 183 in Fern Park, Florida for over 50 plus years.
Floyd relished the good things in life including country music, hunting, fishing, banjo picking, playing the harmonica and telling his life stories to his family and friends over the years. Floyd also had a passion for Real Estate opportunties. He found great joy in his real estate investments. He was always there to support family, neighbors and friends. His kindness and generosity will alway be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone.
Floyd Newton Goodall is survived by: (Daughter) Mabel Mole, (Sons) Floyd Goodall Jr. and Keith Goodall, (Grandchildren) Brandon Mole, Chase Goodall and Kendall Goodall, (Brothers) Mike Goodall, Glen Goodall and Donnie Goodall and (Sister) Carol Thompson.
