

Irene Ann Bolick, affectionately know as Dolly, passed away on July 26, 2024, at
the age of 86 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born in Lamberton,
Pennsylvania to Michael and Irene Yankura on January 31, 1938. Dolly left this
world leaving behind a legacy of love and faithfulness to all who knew her.
Dolly graduated from James Ford Rhodes High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
On May 3, 1958, Dolly married the love of her life Wally Bolick, and together
they built a family with Christ as the center of their home. Wally and Dolly were
introduced by Dolly’s friend and Wally’s sister Pat. They dated casually, then
Wally was drafted to Korea. However when he came back home they met up again
and the rest is history as the romance blossomed into a marriage of a lifetime.
Dolly was a devoted mother to her daughter Sherry (Doug) Money, her son Scott
Bolick and her youngest daughter Lori (Mark) Jeter. She was a loving grandmother
to Laura, Alyssa, Lindsi, Jared, Craig, Laci and Lexi. She was also the Great
grandmother to Jocelyn (Jojo) and Theo.
Dolly is also survived by her sisters Loretta Kekic, Janet Breyley and Paulette
Rammel, as well as her sister-in-law Pat Nyznyk. As well as a wide circle of other
family members and friends.
Dolly was proceeded in death by her parents, Michael and Irene Yankura and her
loving husband Wally.
As a mother of 3, she and Wally raised their children in Franklin, Ohio and then
later journeyed to Orlando, Florida where she lived out the rest of her life.
Her working career was marked by dedication and excellence as she worked for
Elder Beerman in Ohio as a warehouse specialist. And then upon moving to
Orlando took on the position of a mail-order specialist with Barnie’s Coffee and
Tea Company.
Dolly had several things in her life that she was passionate about. She loved her
family and lit up at the very sight of any of them. She was also faithful to her God.
She was a long standing member of Dayspring Community Church. She was active
in Child Evangelism Fellowship. She loved working with children and was active
in working in the nursery and children’s ministry at various churches in her
lifetime. Dolly was also a volunteer in the Library of Lockhart Elementary School
for many years.
Dolly Bolick will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and
friend. Her wonderful smile, laughter and the joy she brought to so many will be
missed. However, the memories she created will be a comfort to all who knew her.
Dolly’s Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place on
Saturday, August 10, 2024 (11:00 am) @
