

Jack W. Browne II, 61, of Altamonte Springs passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015.Jack was born in Pittsfield, MA on January 2, 1954, son of Jack and Elsie (Munsinger) Browne. He was a 1971 graduate of Taconic High School and received his A.S. in Computer Science from Berkshire Community College in 1973. He was employed at Berkshire Bank until moving to Florida in 1984, where he was then employed by Convergys/Netcracker until retirement in April 2015. Jack married LuAnn Polson on October 14, 1978 in a ceremony at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Pittsfield, MA. In addition to his wife, Jack leaves behind two sons, Gregory (Shannon) and Christopher (Michelle); his grandson Keagan Browne; his mother Elsie Browne; his sister Nancy Koziol; Mother-In Law Lucille Polson; In-laws Marlene (David) Lorczak, Susan Polson and Paul Polson; nieces and nephews Mark Koziol, Antonio Polson, Marissa Lorczak, Anna Polson, Paul Polson Jr. and Holly Polson; and close family friends Chuck, Kathy, Sam, and Adam. He is predeceased by his father Jack W. Browne I, brother-in-law Joseph Koziol and nephew Daniel Koziol. Jack was a wonderful, kind, family man. He was friendly, funny and outgoing. He was known for his style choices of Hawaiian shirts and fanny packs. He was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. He recently rooted on the Tampa Bay Lightning. He enjoyed comedians and live comedy shows. You could usually find him at his computer entering contests. It took him 25 years of marriage to convince LuAnn to try a cruise. Once started they took 18, including a transatlantic to Southhampton, England in 2009. Both enjoyed the music of the Moody Blues and were able to combine cruising and the Moody Blues in 2013 and 2014. Please wear casual clothes. Hawaiian or Yankee shirts.
