

Kayla Marie Galvin, age 22 of Apopka Florida passed away unexpectedly July 9, 2021. Kayla was born in Orlando, Florida on April 18, 1999, graduated from Apopka High School in 2017 and received her Esthetician certification from Orange Technical College. Kayla dreamed of becoming a supermodel and combined her passions of fashion and beauty with her modeling career. Kayla was also an entrepreneur; she became a business owner when she started Lashes Poppin performing cosmetic procedures. Kayla had a passion for life, she loved animals, enjoyed traveling, being by the ocean and seeking new horizons. Those who knew Kayla were touched by her giving and loving nature, people were drawn to Kayla’s smile, confidence, and positive energy. Kayla had the ability to light up a room and inspire those around her. While Kayla had a passion for fashion and beauty when it came to people, she did not judge on outer beauty she focused on the inner beauty of others.
Kayla is deeply loved and missed by her daughter Sophia Warren, mother Rebecca Bouwkamp – Galvin, father Rodrick Galvin II, step-parents Jundel Dumancas and Barbie Galvin, brother Rodrick Galvin III, sisters Liana Silva and Iyanna Galvin, step-brothers Nicklas Charles and Devin Charles, uncle Benjamin Bouwkamp, grandparents Ralphine (Tom) Whitson, Sandra and Louis Coleman, Donald (Linda) Bouwkamp, cousins Michael Day, Tamia and Tamya Bouwkamp, Benjamin Bouwkamp Jr, and Zymauriah Galvin her longtime best friend Christopher Soriano and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Kayla was preceded in death by her aunt Nastaskya “Tasha” Galvin and great-aunt Marilyn Johnson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Friday July 23 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home 994 E Altamonte Dr Altamonte Springs Florida 32701.
