Margaret Ann Matlack

We’ve all lost a wonderful woman and the void she leaves is lasting and deep. Margaret was born on February 4, 1938. she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Margaret loved her husband, her family, and adventures of all kinds.

Alongside her husband John, she traveled to 48 of our great states. She loved traveling and capturing all the of beauty of our country through the lens of her camera and the many photos she took. She had a long career with Publix Supermarkets, where she forged many close and dear friendships. Margaret spent all her free time caring for and nurturing her family, she was an amazing cook and homemaker.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband John Matlack.

She is survived by daughters; Chris Breslin (Patrick), Toni Allen (Dana), Son; Rance Matlack (Lynne). Grandsons; Eric Layton (Dee), Matthew Allen, Mitchel Allen, Sam Matlack (Victoria) and Great- Grandchildren; Neo Layton, Baysia Akney (Christian) , Ziv Layton, Lucius Layton, Ikia Layton, Jasher Layton, Alba Allen, Alec and Millie Matlack.

A Visitation for Margaret will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Reception will occur immediately after from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. All will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 90 Weathersfield Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
