I knew Nancy since I was 5 years old. We grew up in Longwood and i fondly remember the entire loving family and going to church and the Easter Egg Hunts on her Mother's property. I lost touch over the years and saw her again at my Mother's funeral almost 4 years ago. Nancy was just as sweet and still smiling.  i just found out about her passing an hour ago. i wondered if everything was okay as I was reading a prior Christmas card from her. I checked and found this.Rest in Peace you dear sweet lady! Sending love and prayers to family. 

Nancy was my cousin and a good friend all of her life. You couldn't ask for a more loyal, compassionate, dependable friend who exhibited the virtues of the Christian life in everything. She was always there to help in any way she could, and it is great comfort to me that she is free from the pain she endured with courage and dignity and is now with the Lord she loved and served so well for so long. I know Jesus' first words to her were, "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord." (Matthew 25:23) May the Lord bless and comfort her family now and in the days to come.

I met Nancy when I was just 18 years old and we worked at Shelby Mutual Insurance Company, Ohio Casualty Insurance and lastly at CNA Insurance.  She was a big part of my life for over 40 years.  She always had a positive attitude and a giggle.  She loved her family and was a caregiver to her Mom.
She adored her niece and nephew and talked about them always.  Just the other day I found her retirement pictures from CNA and now two people are missing from the photos.  Nancy I know you are looking down on us and are probably already doing gardening up in heaven.  Just don't try and pry the nozzle off of a paint can again, you had blue hands for weeks.  I love you and miss you.

Nancy and I were schoolmates at Lyman from the 7th grade through graduation. We played on the Lyman basketball team together. I am now and will always be grateful that Nancy was a part of my life.  A good friend and a wonderful person.  Patsy Hollis Roberts.

I met Nancy when she came to work at Ohio Casualty.  She was always giving others a smile or a giggle or whatever it took to let us know that we meant something and life was good.  She loved everyone and let it show every day.  This is our Lord shining through her. We were blessed to know her.

I met Nancy when I was 15 years old and started attending Upsala Presbyterian Church (in 1977).  She was a beautiful example of what a Christian woman should be.  Later, my future husband Mark and I, were involved with Nancy in the singles ministry at Upsala.  When I told Mark of her passing, he said, "Our loss is heaven's gain."  On a lighter side, Nancy caught the bouquet at our wedding, but she never did marry.  May the Lord richly bless Nancy's family (including Spencer and Janet) and help them through this difficult time.  Love, Pat & Mark Fink

Nancy was such a wonderful Christian woman.  She always put the needs of her family and friends above her own.  She is truly a Child of the King and I am so glad that she is with her Lord and Savior at this time.  Thank you to the Whitehead family for sharing your precious loved one with us.
