

Nancy Zuber Rummans, 72, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on February 24, 2022 surrounded by her family at her daughter’s home in Fern Park, FL. She was born March 11, 1949 in New London, Connecticut to the late Norman and Alice (Willcox) Zuber.
Nancy earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology and had a career as a social worker in Georgia and Alabama in the 70’s and 80’s. She left her career in 1985 to move to Florida and become a stay at home mom. Nancy later went back to work at the Department of Revenue for the Child Support Division.
Christian by faith, Nancy practiced kindness warmth and compassion towards others daily. She was considered by many as the nicest person they had ever met. Facing life with an infectious sense of humor, she loved to be able to say "at least it will make a great story".
Nancy knew no strangers only friends she hadn't met yet. As an adoring mother, cherished grandmother to her four grandchildren, treasured sister, and loving friend she was a beacon of light to all.
Her best times were spent shopping for an incredible bargain, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying the company of her friends and family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Nancy is preceded in death by her brother, John Michael Zuber.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Rummans (Fabian) Garcia; brother, Norman Russell “Skip” (Susan) Zuber; Fabian’s parents, Els and Ralph Garcia; brother, Claudio Garcia and sister and her husband, Melanie Garcia (Yohan) Rodriguez; four grandchildren, Avaya, Brooke, Ryker and Rocco; along with cherished friends, Julie Mooney McLaughlin, Patti Keefe and Al Amore.
