

Born on December 24, 1935, in the Azores, Portugal, Natalie lived a full and meaningful life marked by deep faith, love for her family, and a generous spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Maria Pinentel. Also, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard M. Souza, with whom she shared 24 years of marriage. A devoted wife, Natalie is survived by her husband, Charles Turner, with whom she shared a loving marriage since December 2, 1989.
Natalie was a dedicated mother to her children, Robert John Souza, Deborah Ann Stroup, and Perry Michael Souza. She was a proud grandmother to Brandon Michael Stroup and Kelly Stroup Blackmon, and a joyful great-grandmother to Julian Miles Blackmon.
A former juvenile educator in childcare, Natalie had a lifelong passion for nurturing young children. Her life was also enriched by her love of travel; especially throughout Europe and her appreciation for beauty, whether in the form of yellow roses or the peaceful view of the water, which brought her comfort and joy.
Natalie's Catholic faith was central to her life. She was deeply devout, attending Mass daily via television in her later years and finding strength and purpose in prayer and tradition. Her faith was not just a practice but a way of life, shaping her into a woman of generosity, compassion, and grace.
Natalie will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, her unwavering devotion to her faith, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, located at 375 Sunset Dr N, Casselberry, FL 32707, on October 17, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
A Graveside Service will follow at Palm Cemetery, 1005 N New York Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
A Reception will take place at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte Chapel, 994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, on October 17, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
