Pearl A Laxton was born in Sawyer Ky on August 24th 1933. Her parents were James Millard Smith and Nancy Ann (Perry) Smith. Pearl was married to Lacie Chester Laxton on Sept 2 1948. Lacie passed in Orlando Florida on January 27th, 2009.
Pearl loved being from a large family and loved to socialize and entertain. She enjoyed preparing meals for friends and family, making sure to included everyone's favorite dish. Pearl was a passionate nurse in her early adulthood which carried on throughout her life, as she loved taking care of others. She was an expert gardener and loved tending to her garden. There wasn't anything she couldn't grow. Fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables were always on her table and she took great pride in sharing her talent with others.
Pearl is survived by their children: Dan (Connie) Laxton of Clearwater Florida, Nita Ann (Jeff) Tisdale of Lawrenceville Georgia, Darrell (Angie) Laxton of Orlando Florida and Tim Laxton of Clearwater Florida.
Pearl A Laxton was preceeded in death by both parents and 4 brothers named Lummer, Jack, Levi and Herman Smith and 3 sisters named Nora Davis, Gracie Gibson and Chola Keith. She has 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.
