Hi Old Man! It's Steve. First, I am not late. I was not going to write anything because most did not turn out good. BUT I received a call from beyond the grave today so I am compelled to tell you. First we lost Mamal, Aunt Dorothy, brother Boogie and friend Jerry Suiter. Painful. Things went as I predicted and sorry you only had (1) so sad. We are doing great. Mom is spry, Lynn and kids and grand kids too are great (Your/My genes going on). Can't wait for results. What will they be? Anything they aspire to be, no limits. When I Bobcat, I often find myself looking for you around the corner. I'm telling our stories to everyone. Caitlyn and I have oysters often and talk of our many adventures together so many. They are endless. Find everyone, show them the ropes  and I will see you all soon enough. Everyone Misses you! I just saw this obit. Was actually trying to look up Bob to make some kind of contact after so many years. Bob was my company commander at Ft Benning when I was a young 2d Lieutenant. I still think of him often. He was an outstanding example  to me and to the other young officers and men in his command.  A professional who was respected by all of us.  
Well done, Bob.
 Thank you from the guys who looked up to you back in the 70’s.

Happy Fathers Day in Heaven Daddy! Oh how I miss you! It has not gotten any easier with time, I still cry all the time. I love you and miss you terribly!

Hi old friend.             It has been two whole years.       I miss you.                          I miss your opinions and our talks on everything.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Time seems to fly by and I remember things like they were last week. Everyone is about the same. You have a new great grand baby Novah Skye Monroe. I was telling some friends as I often do the other day about some of our adventures. Rolling the loader on 17-92, putting the babcat in the lake you knocking the porch on me Oops! Putting Lynn in the motor home window to get the keys Steve locked inside. Funny! Pushing the motor home, it stopped running with the tow car  still hooked up. You know our motto - if it's a good hand, just bet it. Good oysters, just eat it. If it is broken, just fix it. Steve's motto get on with it. You always loved that "no guts no glory" mentality.  It just worked for us.  You did what you did to better the family. I got it.                                                                                                             Thanks for the adventures and taking some Y's in my road with me.

Hi old man I miss you. It has been a year and yes the world still turns. I often think of our adventures before Lynn and with. I still remember the the 4 things you ask me to promise to do when I ask to marry Lynn I agreed and you gave me your permission. The best negotiation I ever did. And what a wedding it was and a party afterwards. Thanks for those memories!  It is harder then I thought to have new adventures and make big deals and not be able to call and tell you about them. I miss the talks and the flat fact answers we gave each other. Lynn Mom and the Kids and grand kids yes one more on the way Steven and Jessica are having another girl all are doing fine. Just think our genes are continuing. I wonder what they will be like at 20 yrs. 30yrs? Will there kids look or for god sake act like us? What will they accomplish? MY hope for them is they reach for goals they are not suppose to achieve.(Like you and I)Vocational  men. Lynn and I have done our part to help make that attainable.I hope you are getting the lay of the land so when I get there you can take me to your favorite  spots. Tell everyone I said high. MY FRIEND.   From engines to Bobcats to marrying your daughter, we were the basis of a lot of fodder. From motorhomes to houseboats, hunting and fishing, casinos and more, rolled over Bobcats and loaders and four by fours. There are not a  lot of memories over the last 38 years that you were not a part of. All of our adventures most people can only imagine. What a ride, I enjoyed every second of it. You have point now. When I was young,  Robert  and  Nina Everidge took me in to their home and treated me like a son.  They changed my life for the better and made me into the man I am today. Over the years I have lost track, but have never forgotten about the most wonderful family I have ever known .  It was with a heavy heart  that I found out he passed away, but the impact he made in my life will live on in me forever. He will always have a special place in my heart.   Rest In Peace,

We are so sorry ab out the loss of Bobby.  While we did not get to see you all very much, we have fond memories of him.  We are also thankful for the many years of service that he gave to our county.  You & your family are in our thoughts & prayers.  With love,

Bob you are dear to us and you will be sorely missed by Mark & I.  What will we miss?  Seeing you on the front porch at Chubbys..your stories,  quick wit and your smile. Rest my friend and Thank You for your service.


Will never forget all the weekends we spent pawn shopping, getting breakfasts, and spending time at the hunt camp. Loved spending time during the holidays in the past few years just sitting and talking about movies and TV shows he had watched recently and comparing all our favorite scenes.

In the late 70's  Bobby Jr, David W.  and I were on the wild side of life.  Mr Everidge created a hauling company and we all had a chance to make as much money as we wanted.   I am forever grateful to Mr. Everidge to show me with a little hard work you can make as much money as you need.   When we got to a job site I remember him saying 'man look at all that money'  and all I saw was clutter,  thinking back I think his method was to work us really hard so we were too tired at night  to slow us down.  I guess it worked  as we all turned out good.
