I was the baby of the cousins.  Being the baby I was always up in my cousins personal space.  Following all of u around,  copying what u did because I looked up to all of u.  I would spend a lot of time at titi margia house and u were always loving and patient with me.  When I was little I was the extra baggage hooked to your hip.  U took care of me...u wr my cousin legally but more like my big sister.  As a grew I was petrified of needles.  The Dr's could not handle me. As soon as I would walk into their offices I would run out of their offices as soon as I saw the needle and they could not catch me lol. Finally being that u were a phlebotomyist and they all knew u,  they would send u the script because u where the only one that could get me to sit still for a shot or for a blood draw.  U just had a way.. u would distract me in a conversation or cracking jokes and then all of a sudden... I'm done.  I never ever felt the pinch and I was not scared because it was u.  I love u dearly my cousin and I will miss you.  Ty for always being the big sister that I did not have!!!

I've waited to write something since I heard a couple weeks ago. I waited as if somehow it would be less devastating or reduce the heartache. Maybe the tears would be less or they wouldn't fall at all if I sit a while and gather my thoughts. When such a good human, a kind person, a genuine soul is no longer earth bound - we are never ready. I know I am never ready. I never will be ready. The world lost an angel on earth. I have never known a manager who was such a leader in and out the office. I never forgot the lessons she taught me about microbiology nor life. Sandy is an authentic spirit. I'm honored to have had the privilege of working for her and with her. She is the bar I set for leaders at every step of my career. I can go on and on for forever about her. And I only knew her from work for a little over 10 years. There was a something in her though. I could see it. I could feel it. And I knew I was cared for as a person, as a friend. She is and will forever be a role model. I have  to pause here before more tears come. All family and friends of Sandy, please accept my deepest condolences. Her grace and light will live on through you and as each of us moves through this world remembering her. And also, whenever I see a turtle, I always think of Sandy fondly. The heavens are blessed too now. An amazing person. She's an amazing person. The honor is mine.

It was such a privilege working for and with Sandy at Florida Hospital (AdventHealth, Orlando).
Sandy was a very gentle, private, industrious, and knowledgeable lady, with a huge passion for Microbiology, and her job. She made the work she did seem effortless, and the standards she required of her team, exemplary.
I can clearly remember Sandy coming in early every morning, and getting the day's work sorted out before we the techs got there.
No task was too menial or unimportant for her. 
She led by example, and her loyalty very evident, and renowned.
Sandy has left behind great memories, and a legacy that many of us will forever treasure and be thankful for. 
Sandy: Rest in Peace...for we will meet again on the other side. But until then, we will "Stay calm and carry on", (one of her favorite sayings), in your footsteps like you taught us, and expected of us...with "class and culture".

My very first  long vacation w/o mom & dad  was one summer that I spend with Tia Margo, Sandra, Ivan .  It was in their home in Winter Park.  That summer was unforgettable. Because of you, I develop a love for reading books, as you taught me to go to the library and check out books.  You and I love the beach, and you asked me to find you a condo on the beach.  You bought that first condo in New Smyrna.  It brought you many vacations and beautiful sun rises.  You loved it.  You came to Puerto Rico that summer.  You had a new car your parents bought for you.  You and I satisfied our passion for the Ocean, alcapurrias and mofongos. We would ride in your red . car to Isla Verde in pursuit of that beautiful beach, and our lunch in the neighborhood. We loved it.  You loved the ocean so much, you introduce me to Club Med.  You loved those all inclusive Franch style vacations.   You and I  became members of Club Med as well and savored the carribean,, the  French cuisine .  I was honored to spend a few days with you during Hurricane Milton.  We exercised, we talk about what will feel like the first time you held Elio in your hands.  You and I listened to Country music and Jazz.  I loved cooking for you high protein meals.  We remembered  our Long Boat key vacations with Mami, Tia Margo , our husbands and our kids. We would make Pitzzas, ride bikes, eat at the Columbia Restaurant, swim, tan.  Yes! They were the most wonderful years !  We both loved horseback riding.   You and I went horse back riding  that afternoon along Univ. Blvd, smelling the oranges blossom, and enjoying the afternoon.  You are an 'Angel' now  You are in the best place right now.  We will see each other again.. I  will miss you always.  I will keep the beautiful cards you sent me.  I will be present in your girls lifes, they are so much like you!  These are my promises to you, Sandy. I love you. My family loves you.  Until our next meeting, Rest In Peace Sandrita.
