

Terrence “Terry” R. Rowan, 69, of Altamonte Springs, FL (formerly of Blaine, MN) passed away on June 21, 2015. He was born to the late Robert and Margaret Rowan on April 25, 1946 in Chicago, IL. Terry was married to his loving wife, LaVerne, for 38 years. Together they raised 6 children, and Terry loved his family. He was a Little League coach for basketball and baseball, coaching his own family and many others with fairness and passion. He retired from Best Buy as a Service Technician after over 15 years. Terry was known for his good sense of humor, love of sports, and the deep love he had for his family. He was a devoted Chicago Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks fan. Terry was a loving husband, and wonderful father, and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. Terry was preceded in his passing by his brothers Dave, Richard, and Linwood Rowan, and his sister, Jordyce McCarthy. He is survived by his wife, LaVerne Rowan; sons Ron (Dee J), Don (Kami), Mike, and David (Eunice) Rowan; daughters Michelle Raines (Joe) and Ginger Neubauer (John); 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as many other close family members and friends. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Baldwin Fairchild East Altamonte, 994 E Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
