Warren Eugene Sikes Jr (Gene) l, 80, of Zellwood Florida passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. He was born on May 28, 1944 in Jacksonville Florida. He married the love of his life Margaret Brockenbrough on June 8th 1965. He served in the Army and became a sergeant before being honorably discharged. He worked at and retired from Harper Mechanical. He was a great husband, father, and wonderful Pa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved so much! He is survived by his daughter Deanie (Bruce) Halverson, his grandsons Michael(Angela) Halverson, Brandon (Amber) Halverson, 3 great grandchildren , Henry and Hudson Halverson, and little girl Halverson due next year and his brother, Jerry Sikes. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Sikes, his sister, Judy Hudson, and his parents Warren and Dorothy Sikes.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home-West Altamonte, 90 Weathersfield Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka.
