

Winifred Lee Dellinger, age 94, of Altamonte Spring, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Winifred was born January 19, 1927 to Lelia Evelyn (Cory) Hoppes and Samuel J. Hoppes. She was the youngest of ten children and has preceded all of them. Winifred was raised on a farm in Fayette County, Ohio.
Winifred worked as a secretary for the Bureau of Crippled Children in Ohio and Vocational Rehabilitation in Florida. In her later years, she was a medical transcriptionist for six years up until she was 74 years old.
She enjoyed gardening but most of all was a wonderful caregiver to her sister and daughter amongst many others who received such selfless care and attention. Winifred was the most kind and giving mother, grandmother, sister, wife and friend.
Winifred was preceded in death by her father Samuel J. Hoppes and her mother Lelia Evelyn (Cory) Hoppes; husband Paul Dellinger; her daughter Vickie Sue Dellinger and nine siblings.
Winifred is survived by her daughters Carol Swank (William Depta) and Connie L. Reeder.
Winifred also leaves behind four grandchildren Kevin Swank, Karin Fisher (Steven), Tony Swank (Carolina), and John Reeder; six great-grandchildren Laura Ashley Fisher, Jacob Hoofman (Jessica), Kyle Hoofman, Scott Fisher, Gianna Swank, and Anthony Swank; and three great-great-grandchildren Aiden Yurkewiecz, Chloe Yurkewiecz, and Jameson Hoofman.
A graveside service for Winifred will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, Florida 32703.
