Audrey Brown

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Audrey was a gentle, loving, and kind woman with a heart of gold. She had a way of making everyone feel accepted and welcomed. A true social butterfly, Audrey was known for her warm spirit and creative talents. She especially loved sewing—crafting countless Barbie outfits and clothes for her children. Her artistic gifts extended to ceramics, and she proudly owned and operated a ceramic shop in Dalhart, Texas.

She married the love of her life, Eugene Brown, in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Together, they shared 71 beautiful years of marriage. Audrey had a deep love for her family and her beloved furbaby, Lucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene; her son, Conny "Buster" Brown; and her sister, Sharon Yates.

Audrey is survived by her daughter, Eugenia Zarate, and her son, Michael Brown. Along with many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She will be remembered always for her loyalty, kindness, and the love she gave so freely.
