Beth Lamberth

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm in the Memorial Park Funeral Home; 6969 E. Interstate 40 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10am in the funeral home’s Chapel of Memories with Mike Nuthman presiding. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Beth was born to GA “Jake” Lamberth and Maude Louise Clemens Lamberth in Amarillo, Texas on Feb. 22, 1941. She graduated from Clarendon High School in 1959. She attended West Texas State University. She spent most of her career prior to retirement as a Real Estate Broker/Agent as well as Advertising Sales. She was the highest real estate salesperson in Amarillo for a couple of years. She loved her family, and all gatherings resulted in a game! She was an avid poker/Texas Hold’em player. She was known as Mom, Beth, Bethie, Granny Beth, and Aunt Granny.

Beth’s memories are left to be cherished by her Son Jay Carter and wife Sherri of Joshua, Texas, Sister Linda Hicks of Amarillo, Brother- Jay Lamberth and wife Cathy of Tijeres, NM; Grandsons Sam Carter and wife Kayla of Keller, Texas and Jacob Carter of China. She also leaves behind her two great-grandchildren. She was loved and cherished especially by her Amarillo extended family!
